CA Title 21 Quarterly Airport Noise Monitoring Reports

Quarterly noise reports, compiled by the Port’s noise consultant, meet the requirements of the California Airport Noise Regulation (California Code of Regulations, Title 21, Section 5025). These reports are submitted to Alameda County. These reports provide comprehensive statistics on aircraft noise levels at Oakland International Airport. Included is a description of the techniques used to monitor aircraft noise. The reports give information on air traffic and the frequency with which different aircraft use OAK, the runways they use and the aircraft noise levels measured in different parts of the community surrounding OAK. The data is gathered from the airport noise and operations monitoring system (ANOMS).
