Oakland Airport (OAK) must conduct a temporary closure of Taxiway B from Monday, July 28, through Sunday, Aug. 10, and from Monday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 12.

During this time, there will be no access for aircraft to taxi between North and South Field. Residents will experience unusual noise due primarily to jet departures from the North Field.

Additionally, Taxiway B will need to close nightly from 9pm – 7am, from Monday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 24.

During these nighttime closures, jet aircraft activity from the North Field is expected to be minimal but aircraft operating during these hours will need to use the North Field, resulting in residents experiencing unusual aircraft noise.
