Between March 11 and March 13, residents may observe a new type of powered-lift aircraft at OAK that will be operating on the North Field.
Although this aircraft transitions between vertical and forward flight and is exceptionally quiet, a standard support helicopter will accompany the powered-lift aircraft, and the community may notice typical engine noise. Operations will occur primarily over water, crossing land only to access runways. Please direct any concerns to the Noise Hotline at 510-563-6463.
