Oakland International Airport (OAK) must conduct a temporary closure of Runway 12/30 for pavement maintenance work Sunday, May 5, through Monday, May 6, from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, May 12, through Monday, May 13, from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m. The main runway will not be accessible for jet aircraft landings and departures.
The North Field runways will be used for jet departures and landings. Aircraft will overfly residential areas and residents will experience unusual aircraft noise.
